We specialize in event marketing through amateur ski and snowboard races across the Northeastern United States, creating unforgettable experiences that connect people, brands, and the great outdoors.
Founded by passionate winter sports enthusiasts, our mission is simple: To bring together local communities, inspire healthy competition, and amplify brand visibility through dynamic on-mountain experiences.
What We Do
From January through March, we produce a tour of family-friendly alpine races, attracting skiers, snowboarders, and spectators of all ages. Each event blends the excitement of competition with the power of experiential marketing, making it a win-win for both participants and sponsors.
During the summer months, we hit the road with our Sponsor Sampling Activation Series, introducing beloved partner brands like Stonyfield Organic, Olivia’s Organics, Aloha, and Dermatone to active, health-conscious consumers at outdoor festivals, beach towns, and lifestyle events.
What Happens at the Vertical Challenge
- Free, Casual Races:
Open to all ages and skill levels, VC races offer medals in age- and gender-based categories — from toddlers to seniors. Participants compete for gold, silver, and bronze medals, with top finishers advancing to our season finals. - Same-Day Sign-Up:
Anyone skiing or riding at the host mountain can register to race — whether you came for VC or just happened to be on the hill! Registration starts at 8:00 AM and closes at 11:00 AM. - Beginner-Friendly Courses:
- From 10 AM to 12 PM, our racecourse is open on green and blue trails, making them accessible for all skill levels. Dual courses (when available) keep the action flowing quickly.
- Sponsor Sampling & Games:
From 9 AM to 1:30 PM, guests can enjoy free samples from our event sponsors. We also host silly, high-energy games like baby bottle chugging and frozen t-shirt untying — all with prizes up for grabs. - Vertical Victory Party:
Around 1:30 PM, medals are awarded during an epic wrap-up celebration where racers cheer on their fellow competitors. All medalists qualify for the end-of-season VC Finals. Raffles for a Cause:
At select events, our team raffles off premium prizes with proceeds benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation®. Winners must be present — or face the crowd’s favorite chant: “Going once, going twice… see ya!”
